Property Management
« on: January 29, 2008, 11:50:30 PM »
Your Forum Management Team are extremely pleased to introduce to all members the services of a fully experienced Management and Maintenance Company  - Murcia Golf Management & Maintenance - to help you take care of everything you will need in your new property from completion and thereafter.  Amongst the services to be provided are the installation of electrical fittings, bathroom fittings plus any other items that you may require for your property.   Following on from this, the company are also able to offer complete ongoing management of your property, whether you intend to rent it to holiday makers or just use it personally. Other services to be provided will include regular weekly inspections, keyholding, cleaning and laundry, meet and greet of your clients, airport transfers, welcome packs, swimming pool maintenance and cleaning, as well as assistance associated with resolution of snagging issues highlighted at completion.

Although we were all disappointed by Dave and Eileen's decision not to start their business in La Tercia, we are now pleased to announce that the service will be run by Jon and Sarah, who some of you have met at our Coventry social events.  They have already moved over to Spain and will be living full time on UGR.  Jon and Sarah have over 20 years experience in property related service industries as well as owning and managing a holiday property in Spain for 8 years.

If you would like to contact Jon and Sarah to discuss any or all of the above services, then please email jon23june@aol.com

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS USED OUR SERVICES SO FAR.

Thank you to everyone who has used or enquired about our services to date.  So far we have completed lighting and power installations, shower screens, extractor fans, lock changes, shelving to cupboards and also the meeting and liaising of furniture installations.  We are also in the process of having a bespoke designed shower screen for the apartments in M11 where the boxing in the bathroom is proving a problem.
We are also able to offer a fire and safety pack containing fire extinguisher, fire blanket, carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector which is important for personal and the rental market.
As we have just received our completion date for next week, we hope to be living on site in the near future so will able to deal first hand with any requirements, so please feel free to contact us on 0034 686 115 134 or Jon23June@AOL.com

We look forward to meeting soon on United Golf Resorts.

Good information here and please remember that, if you are going to rent out your property, you have to fit a fire extinguisher, and smoke alarm for insurance purposes

Even though the boiler is in the utility area it is still a good idea to have the alarm fitted

One thing we have is a fairly sensitive electronic gas and carbon monoxide sniffer and this week we have found 2 leaking connections on RODA, where they fixed and then tested using washing up liquid

If we are onsite we are happy to test any connections free for people, we would rather people be safe and it takes 5 minutes

I have measured the area between the wall and the box and I believed that if you fitted a corner openning unit, or a glass unit where the door openned inwards, a standard cubical would fit as there is enough of a lip on the edge of the tray to work

Just like to say a big thank you to Jon, for all his help and advice since we have completed on our apartment.

Jon has fitted patio door & window locks, installed a safe, designed and fitted our own personal storage and cupboard space in one of the wardrobes, fitting mozzie nets on the windows and patio door, Jon is devising and installing a cupboard in the bathroom ( middle TEE apartment ) to cover the two wash basins pedestals and create storage space.

Along with meeting our deliveries, meeting and greeting our renting clients, and also having to put up with constant emails and phone calls from me nothing is to much trouble for him.

All i can say is if you require a property management team to take care of your property, contact Jon & Sarah you can find there contact details on this topic board  8)

Well, can I third your views - Jon has been managing my place at Roda Golf now since the early part of this year and has done a fantastic job.  I can heartily commend him to you all and nothing is too much trouble.  In fact he baled me out of a terrible situation for which I am eternally grateful and he has looked after us very well indeed since then.

We also have a wonderful housekeeping team who do our cleans and changeovers etc and make sure we have welcome packs for our guests - they are fantastic too.

Together, they have made managing Roda Golf so much easier than I could have imagined.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Jon Hughes for the work he carried out on our apartment during our recent stay at La Tercia.  The standard of the work he did was excellent, and the apartment was left so clean and tidy you would not know that a tradesman had even been in there.

For anyone looking to have work carried out in their property I would fully reccommend Jon's services.

Hi Jon

We are completing on the 25 June (hopefully).  We are over for a week and would like to get a shower screen installed in the bathroom.  How are you fixed from the 26th until the 30 June?

Please could you give us quote for supplying and installing the screen.  Also how must do you charge for property key holding?  We are not renting out but friends and family will be using the property.  We just need someone to keep an eye on the property.
Many thanks.

I would like to add to the praises of Jon Hughes - Jon has taken care of various tasks required on site while we were back in the UK - no request seems to be too much trouble for Jon.  He has also organised the cleaning/laundry for our apartment and friends have commented the property was spotless when they arrived.

Thanks again Jon
