Thank you for the statement made in your posting almarru specifically about the snagging which will be added to the overwhelming amount of evidebce that I have in an action against UGR for restricted commercial practice

Our snagging was carried out by Maria Matchett before we went out and and only one small problem - paint on the blind covers.

We also checked and double-checked everything ourselves and are really pleased with the finish etc

Just some history here in that UGR introduced an ilegal policy where they restricted who could check the property and claimed that this applied to all third partues but with this statement and other evidence and statements form buyers it can be proven that this only applies to InspecteHomeSpain

Some would wonder what the developer is trying to hide considering I am the longest established independant snagging company in Spain

When I received more evidence from another company 3 days ago I did mail JB and this was his response who continues to lie about this

From: John Beirne
Subject: RE: Snagging

Dear Roy,

Please be informed I am unaware of any snagging visits being carried out by third parties, other than agents or lawyers.

If you can furnish me with the full details I will certainly look into the matter.

I will restate that only clients, agents or lawyers are allowed access to clients’ properties prior to the signing of the Title Deeds.

Kind regards

John Beirne

It is a pity, considering the amount of help and support that we gave buyers, the free inspecions and chaks on the external areas I provided that I have not received very much support from forum members, perhaps people have short memories

Hi All

Just returned from La Tercia and we had a great two weeks with friends and neighbours sorry Luis, Michelle, Gary, Christine and girls that you missed the 2nd 12.1 BBQ we had a great time I am sure all will agree both neighbours from 12.1 and visitors from other communties including the usual two gate crashers from phase 2 who supply the fizzy Cranberry (Yeh right!). Luis John's BBQ food was great but it wasn't the same without yours and Michelle's Paella  :'( maybe that would have kept the mozis away as everyone was bitten to death.

Gary I second your comments about La Torre and El Valle but also had a great time at the La Tercia Golf Society Games. John

The Sports Bar is a great asset to the complex well done Mark, Karl and all, we are grateful for the long hours you put in  ;)...... you may be able to close a bit earlier now we have all returned.

A big thanks to Alan for all the time and effort he has put in his Presidents role and thanks to Jane for all her help with our shopping etc.

Roll on September!!  ;D

It's seems some time since a last posting but just to kick start the positives.

We took ownership last July and have been out on 4 occasions since. Each time we have explored new areas and have been absolutely delighted  with the area and the locals (both onsite and off)

Not only is the locality quite stunning the beaches are amazing and the Mar Menor a revelation. Everything seems so flat and effortless.

Our daughter is disabled and you may have spotted her around site with either us (her mum and dad) or when she has refused to allow us access to our apartment because she and her carers have choose to escape us and nip out there - why because she finds accessability to be so good.

Love the place. so if you are dithering about ownership or looking at getting business in there go for it we all welcome you.

Hi

Welcome to the Forum and to La Tercia - sorry to say I haven't spotted you yet - but will look forward to meeting up at some point in the future.

What a brilliant post - I think with all the rubbish that is going on in the World we do forget how lucky we are.

Can somebody pass on information regarding Broadband connections in UGR, there appears to be a number of postings commenting on cablevision and brisghtsky.

Who can install Broadband and who seems to be the most reliable and better value?

We are no permenant but do have a number of lettings, plus I need internet access for my work when out there.

Any information greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

HELLO, WE CONNECTED LAST MONTH TO CABLEVISION. THEY HAVE BOTH ENGLISH & SPANISH TELEPHONE CONTACT NUMBERS. SERGIO CAME TO DO THE CONNECTION & WAS VERY HELPFUL & HAS SOME ENGLISH TOO. WE HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT BUT HE WAS DELAYED- WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL TO LET US KNOW HE WOULD BE AN HOUR LATER! NOT WHAT YOU WOULD NORMALLY GET FROM SPANISH IN SPAIN! WE ONLY HAVE INTERNET ( NO TV OR PHONE ) & I HAVE THE PRICES FOR ALL IF YOU NEED THEM. WE ARE ON PHASE 1, BEHIND THE COMM CENTER.

Just a quick line to say how much my wife Liz, our daughter and a friend, enjoyed their stay, out at La Tercia last week, and their feeling of how much better things will get, when the site gets "filled up", with phase twoers, and a few shops.

The fact that drink was involved, helped a bit, and having Mary, (in nursing), making up the team of four for the well organised golf club quiz night, enabled them, by one point, to sneak into first place!  ::) ::)

In fact, it's great to read about all the social events, that are arranged, that make the place, somewhere that people really look forward to visiting.

I am sure that I read on here also, that a little band of owners, took it upon themselves, to do a tidy up and litter patrol, round their "neck of the woods",.... just their thoughts on keeping the place in the order that we bought into, years ago. My thoughts too, well done them !

So roll on 5th.May,....guess where we are off to !

David.

Dear All
Ray and I returned last night from yet another great time at La Tercia.

Well done to all who organised the golf and events in the club house which were enjoyed by all.

The karoke night seemed to go down very well especially the little girl with the golden voice not sure who she was but her voice was beautiful.

The residents are doing a splendid job in trying to keep the site looking nice, we saw Sandra (from M11) out with her bucket and trowel gardening and removing the weeds well done.

As somebody has already stated work has stopped on the bar in the commercial centre lets hope it will be up and running for the summer.

Already looking forward to our next trip.

Hi All
Blimey what has been going on since we have been away? iv gone through 7 pages of 2 sides battling it out with each other? :o
well i no we have problems but the msg i got when at La Tercia was every thing was in hand, & hopefully we"ll be debt free by the end of the year, I was also amazed how well the sub communities looked, the grass & flowers arnt perfect but getting better, the general community is a bit over grown but we no the reasons for that, m22 is looking bad compared to the rest of the site, but good to see some life in that part of the resort too, m22ers seem to be getting on with there holidays despite the lack of a pool, got to say a big thank you to gary & cristine, bob & kush, & stig, angie & ashleigh for coming to spain & celebrating my birthday with us, iv known this lot for a couple of years & they go all that way to be there for you, that shows a great community we have, & angie even come up with the mad idea of having a surprise bash for me at the club house :o during the kareoke night, well i normally hate surprises & kareoke, but both were  great, the best kareoke iv ever been to, well done to the organising committe for that, played golf thursday with the weekly run golf society, good to see that still going strong, & didnt realise there is a trophy involved, you must play 8 thursdays through the year to be eligable to enter, so ill try for that, overall missed a few friends we didnt see on this visit (thats the reason the bash would be great, for everyone to get together) but it was great to be on site, not wishing our lives away but cant wait to be able to retire there ;D when your on site the problems on the forum seem millions of miles away, it seems to tick over nicely, everyone had smiles on there faces, no over spill of rubbish, granted we do have a couple of years till its perfect but its getting there,
All the best
Luis

;) HOLA AMIGO ITS GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK  :D Just when I was about to launch my computer out of the window and cut my wrists with all this dome and gloom  :-[
By the way if that's what we are going to get from Engerland in the world cup get ready for more missed penalty's. Is it true that Copello is trying to get the 2  kamikaze Japes in the Engerland team something about a uncle opening a sushi bar in London and them being able to play.Or is that just a Scottish rummer ;)
You betting Stig good one pal did he still have the plaster on his knee  ;)
Yes Sheana,s put all our hard errand ISA Cheque into a caravan in Eyemouth.I wanted to buy a Vila on phase 1 but she wanted to get better value for her money and be able to rent it out its got a  sports bar on site so that's 1 thing better than L.T.
See you on the  1st tee pal

Hello Big Gaz

We used to have a caravan in Coldingham very near to Eyemouth.  We spent many happy years there when the kids were young.  The beach at Coldingham is lovely and St Abbs is breathtaking. It is about three years since we were last there, in fact we upped to an apartment in the Master Block at UGR  :D
