Air Con Commisioning and Operation
« on: July 31, 2008, 12:01:13 PM »
There was some talk in the forum some weeks ago regarding the visit of an enginner to gas up and commision the air con units .Has there been any progress on this issue?

The last comment from UGR was that they have the matter in hand , and that results were expected from the installation company quite quickly .My assumption was that they will do this some time before the onset of the next ice age .Has anyone any news?

Hi Jack

I have an apartment in block M11, Door 6, we had a problem with the AC in early July when we went over.  The AC needed commissioning and possibly gassing.  We have some friends out this week.  I have spoken to them and they have told me it is working.  However when they first turned it on a water leak appeared in the bathroom.  This was due to the overflow not being connected to the AC unit.  This is now fixed also.   We now have Gas, Power, Water and AC.  No major snags left just a few cosmetic things here and there.

This is really thanks to Mark M who has driven this for us with UGR.

Hi,
We also had the problem of a missing pipe on the air con unit, this resulted in 3 of the ceiling tiles falling in due to the dripping water. The problem was fixed but we were told that many of the other apartments have the same problem.
