Storage space
« on: September 19, 2006, 08:07:56 AM »
Has anyone thought about where you can store stuff?  I'm purchasing a three bed apt in Green building and I can't remember seeing any storage except for the usual wardrobes in each bedroom.  Was there anything I missed or was their an option to purcase something?

Hi Kaz,

I’ve not heard of any option to purchase any storage. As you say other than making the most of the space you have I don’t see what your options are.

What about building some kind of cupboard into your utility area?

Any other ideas?

Gary.

Hi gary,
Other than the usual..ie storage under beds I couldn't think of anything else.  The utility area isn't that big either.  If we were to go along the rental route then it would mean either leaving everything or not having any personal stuff there.   I wonder if there will be any provisions made by UG?

would there be any space outside the apartment as you get out of the lift?  Sorry I haven't got any plans of building so don't know how the lift and area that leads to apartment will work.

Hi Kaz

This would make an excellent questionf or Gisella. I will post something on the Questions to United Board (we will have the same problem and I must admit it had crossed my mind and then left!).  The thought that I did have would be to put a lock on one of the wardrobes but I did dismiss that as not very practical.  Let's see what Gisella has to say.

Best regards
Sandra

Hi,

Perhaps we could include in that question, if any thought has been given to fitting a safe?

Hi Sandra,

I thought about the wardrobe idea but that wouldn't leave much room if there were six people staying..well not if they're anything like me when I travelled..lol plus golf clubs can get expensive back and forward on Ryan Air!..Thanks for posting o questions board for ug
