New member just saying hello
« on: September 26, 2007, 02:11:41 PM »
Hi I've just joined the forum.  We are buying in Phase 3 Hacienda De Riquelme.  Just interested to see what other members are up to, how far along are you with buying furniture, when you think the utilities will be up and running etc.  I was very interested and distressed at the post that stated the town centre will not be up and running till summer 2008 and there will be no golf course till Easter 2008.  Is this right? As our property will be rented for much of the time these factors are fairly fundamental.

Anyway enough questions and a big hi to everyone. :)

Welcome Janey to the Forum - I think you will find everyone is very friendly and helpful.

If you need information on any topic to do with with property purchasing (not specific to Hacienda Riquelme) then just search - I am sure the answer will be here somewhere on the Forum.

With kind regards
Sandra

 :)

I've just found this website and forum,  and wish I'd found it months ago!  We're completing on HR on 23 November,  phase 4,  and have found all the information very interesting and informative.  We were planning on Christmas/New year out there,  but probably we won't have utilities and furniture by then!

Can anyone tell me,  once you complete,  can you come and go onto the resort easily?  and maybe go onto a different phase to see how the develpment is coming along?  We have friends buying on phase 7,  and they'd like us to go down and see the progress - do you think that will be possible?

it's a bit of a minefield - furniture and all - very steep learning curve!   All info gratefully received!

Maggie

Hi Maggie

Welcome to the Forum and we are so glad you found us.

When you complete on a development normally the whole Phase completes and therefore you can come and go as you know own the property.  Obviously - you won't have access to the incomplete phases if they are building sites, but you would be in a good position to review progress for your friends.

We have loads of deals re furniture, flights, car hire, car parking, mortgage products, currency transfers etc. etc. so just review all the boards.  A lot of the information re La Tercia is probably relevant to y ou and you would be welcome to join in our social events as they happen.

With kind regards
