Hello!
« on: June 26, 2006, 02:36:38 PM »
Hi

Not sure how to use this forum thing properly new to it all - the same as being new to buying overseas! Looking at buying one of the last aprtment in block 6 - went over in May and liked the site and the model apartments - they had 3 of the villas up and they looked lovely - very well spaced out!

Anyway would like to talk to a few of you as new to it all and haven't signed on the dotted line yet need a bit more com=nvincing thats its the right place etc! Hoping to go back out in a couple of weeks and make our minds up - has anyone been out recently? Anyone had any problems? Why did you all choose La Tercia? Anyone had dealing with United Golf before?

Sorry for all the questions!

Theresa & Dave

Hi Theresa and Dave

Welcome to the forum.

If you check through the topics on the forum, I`am sure you will find the answers to most of your questions.I know there is a lot to look at but it is well worth the time.

If you take a look at the posting from Andy and Fiona, this is under the topic TEE buildings you will see the development is selling very well. Also the prices in the next phase are on the up.

We have had no dealings with United Golf before but they have been building for 15 yrs or so, did you receive the dvd from the sales dept this explains the other developments they are building and that you can play golf at as well.

Hi Theresa and Dave,
We too have just bought for the first time at La Tercia. We reserved our apartment on the Tuesday and the following day some of the properties were working on a revised price list and as Dave has already mentioned, the prices for the next phase are on the up.

Everyone shares the anxiety at first I think (we certainly did) but as time goes on I am extremely pleased that we are part of this project and we look forward to DEC 07 with bated breath.

Welcome to the forum!

Hello Theresa and Dave.

Welcome to the forum.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, thats what the forum is all about.  Hopefully some of the answers will help in making your decision on whether to purchase.

Sorry Sonja and Frans but it just wasn't your night.  Believe us in saying that it will be the same here if England go out.  But we're still in with a chance!!

Val and Paul.

Hi Theresa and Dave,

We reserved our apartment on Saturday (through Parador) after just the 1 visit to the site, then flew home in the evening wondering if we had done the right thing! This is our first property overseas so we were a little hesitant but after viewing numerous properties in various areas we felt this was certainly the right place for us. It just had a good feeling about the whole place. They are very good quality in comparison to many of the new-builds that we viewed. Have a look at one of our previous emails, it tells you which apartments are left unsold. If you need specific details of exactly which apartments are left, let us know as we have a copy of the latest availability sheet. Apparently they will not release the next phase until these are  sold-out but they anticipate a 20% rise in price over the 1st phase.

We also liked the fact that other sites were planned and you could be shuttled around so you could use the facilities elsewhere if you wanted to.

After finding this site and receiving such a warm welcome from everyone, we are really excited and can't wait until Dec 07!

Andy & Fiona

Hi Theresa and Dave

Are you the contact from Eye on Spain that emailed me earlier.  If so, welcome - as you can see we have a very vibrant and thriving forum and I think we are all eagerly anticipating completion of United Golf at La Tercia.

Good luck with your decision.

Welcome Theresa and Dave

Its quite an experience reading that so many of us have had the same reservations.   We too have still not signed on the dotted line!  we are certainly experiencing the true meaning of 'later'.   I still have concerns as this is also our first purchase abroad but the re-assurance that this forum offers is second to none and I for one are so grateful for all this correspondence and information that is available.  We initially were shocked how much prices had risen as we were looking for a 3 bed house with access to a pool but soon came to realise that any property already in an established area the prices reflected this, and we certainly didn't find anything within the same price range to the spec that was offered at UGR, so we feel in comparison we are getting value for money.  Hope you decide to join us and look forward to hearing from you shortly.
Good luck
Charles and Dawn
