Hi All,

The forum has been running for nearly two years now and has changed very little over that time. It’s now necessary for me to make some major ‘under the hood’ changes.

Hopefully, I plan to do this Saturday evening; therefore the forum will not function for a while and may have some limited use through the night and into Sunday. 

I hope we will return with some new features and a different look.

Sorry for an inconvenience this may cause.

Good luck with the changes - but remember if it ain't broke don't fix it -
Anadin are very good for headaches caused by banging head of wall - if you have any left you can always use them after the 200 member party. Did you ever think !!!!!!!!!!!

I’ll ask Christine to stock up on the Anadin’s…..

I agree with ‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ Problem is we need to update some of our security methods especially around the registration process. Have you ever had a laugh at some of the new member’s names that you may see tying to register to our forum?
We have approx 20-30 people trying to join every day to post undesirable content ‘if you know what I mean’  That means Myself, Dave,Sandra and Val receive emails from these lot and then we have to vet them to see if they could be genuine. It’s a lot of work….

This is just a small part of what we will achieve with the change, hope it don’t go wrong…..

Seeing we are moving ever so close to the big day i thought this topic should be raised again to remind all forum members and also non-members. Please Take Note of Gary`s posting regarding the changes to the forum.

Keeping our fingers x all goes well, which i am sure it will, Gary did Christine stock up on the anadin just in case

Hi,

Thank you all for your kind words.

There is still much to do and I hope that shortly you will be able to select other theme colours etc. Not everyone likes blue!!!!!

Anyway, if there is anything you would like to see added to the forum or if you find anything is not working, please do let me know.
