Gary

Glad it went OK for you - should I ask for a refund!!!!!!  We had to pay £22 each x 3 (we got my daughter an NIE as well).

Oh, well, que sera, que sera!!

Glad you got sorted.

Hi All

We have been to the Spanish Consulate today to apply for our N.I.E, and were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.  All very simple.

We too did not have to pay for this ;D

Hi Val & Paul

I am definitely going to apply for a refund!  Flippin' £22 each for me, Allan & MC!  Seems like the trail blazers have to pay the price and then they change the goalposts!  Never mind, as long as it works - that's all that matters!

Glad it went OK.

Hi Everyone

Just thought I would let you know, I have been to the Consulate in Manchester and there is now no charge for the NIE number, this was brought in about 3 weeks ago.
