Hi Sam

A little information for you although I am not to sure how true this maybe. I have heard that properties could start to be released around Dec 07 January 08. Although with the Xmas holidays etc nothing will happen from end Dec till probably 3rd week in Jan.

Also try contacting this number PW head office in London 0808 100 4500 email info@polarisworld.co.uk.

Hope this is of some help to you.

Dave

Thanks to Sam for the information he recived below, from PW regarding completions at Hacienda Riquelme.

"I have been speaking about completions.

I'd like things were more simple to explain, but considering that the easiest would be to promise anything you want to hear just speculating on the fact that I may be anywhere else on a year time, I think you'll appreciate my straight honesty.

The entire project is suffering some months delay because several factors. The signifficative ones are the detour of a road, that the council has unilaterally delayed, the detour of an electrical line, that the electric company has not done on time and the urbanisation works, which I have none to blame yet.

Phase I is presumed to be ready for delivery from september '07 on and the phases will be delivered stepwise from then.

After my own experience in construction, I would bet that phase IV can be ready for delivery already around spring (april), depending only on how quickly can the council handle 1800 inspections and deeds.

Regarding the golf, it will physically be there as it is now, but won't be open for playing before it goes through all the inspections from council, industry ministry, golf association... Let's say nine months afterwards".

"The golf course is already there! Only the areas around some buildings are still unseeded or dirty,  waiting for the heavy loads to get off , but it looks like this already.

Anyway, the golf course must go through even more inspections than the houses themselves and then get the approval of the golf association in order to open for playing, but landscapeswise, it will be great already the first day".

I have a friend who has had the call from PW to say his apartment is ready for the middle of Oct 07, he is on phase 1, so good luck to him and others on HR. They have over run considerably but at least can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Freda

I see you live in Bolton, not far away from us we live in Leigh. Are you going to be living at HR or will this be a holiday home for you?

hi dave
we have just returned from Spain to complete on HR faze 1
we Will not be living on site it will be a holiday home for us.
from what we saw last week i think it will be a long time
before it will be up and running. the apartment is ready, but we must now wait for
the unitlites to be connected, we have been told it could be up to 8wk
we are members of Polaris world owners club, (this is a very good service) a representative from
the owner's club picked us up at the hotel on wed morn, she took us to the Polaris world HQ
From there someone took us to Murcia police station to collect our N.I numbers.
we were then taken back to HQ, from there we were taken to view the property for a snagging visit.
we have bought a 2bed second floor apartment, i was a little disappointed at the size of the bedrooms,
i thought they would have been bigger. after the snagging visit i was given a bunch of fresh flowers and my husband was given a golf umbrella.
That was useful as it rained for the two days we were busy sorting things out.

The next day we were taken to sign the deeds, then onto  (Je Ne Sais Quoi) an interior design company
recommended by PW.  they gave an excellent service with good quality furniture, we bought everything we needed to furnish  the apartment total cost 13,150 euros. we got a voucher from PW of 2,000 euros
and a further 1,000 euros from (Je Ne Sais Quoi) total cost to us 9,650 euros very good value..

the site is still under construction there should be an 18 hole golf course but it is temporary to be a 9 hole course so it can be used.
a lot of work still to be done the centre will be about 2yrs to complete.although we should be able to use the appartment for around xmas time, there will not be much to do on site. :-\

Hi Freda,

As we're close to completing, ;D ??? ??? -just waiting for confirmation of our date - we're interested in the quality of the finish, as you said the apartment rooms are smaller than you'd hoped, d'you have a long list for snagging, and how long are they saying to sort out any problems ?

We also paid a visit to Je ne sais quoi, very nice quality we thought. We bought through Parador Properties, who also have an afiliation with them, aparantley they have brought the franchise over from Portugal.

Hope to meet you soon. We will be living out there permanently.

hi malc & jane
we also bought from paradour properties. we agreed to buy in April 2006 have just completed. the snagging visit was straightforward the only prob we had was a cover on the meter box. they said they would replace it the same day.i got a bunch of flowers and my husband a golf umbrella after the snagging visit was complete.
the hold up now is waiting for utilities to be connected, 6-8wk
furniture about 12wks

what phase are you on ? we are on phase 1 we should have completed early spring but the site is behind schedule. i would not live on it just yet. we met our new neighbour he intends to live on site but he is renting on lamanga until ready. surounding area is not ready, only the buildings are ready
we got our keys last thursday11th oct they only started to hand out keys last wk on the first phase.
you defo need a car to get to places and around the site.
we have been told the centre will take about 2yrs to complete

hope to meet you soon

Hi Freda & Pete,

Good to read that you have completed on your property on HR 8), did you have any time to take photo`s of the development when you was over completing on your property? How does the finish of the properties on H.R. compare with the other P.W. developments?

Do you know the cost of the green fees at H.R. for 9 holes?

We are over at Xmas maybe we will see you if you are visiting H.R. at Xmas, i have heard that in the village of Sucina there will be Xmas festivities taking place. Not to sure what these will be, there is a nice little Spanish Bar named Frank and louise`s in the village for a drink or two :) also a restaurant near by.

hi Dave
sorry we did not take any photos when we were at HR. We had done a lot of traveling about that day, going for the NI numbers, I am not very good at travelling and by the time we got to the apartment to inspect i was feeling very travel sick. i did not feel up to doing anything on the day as i felt awful, shame really as i did not feel very excited about viewing.
The quality was very good, sorry i did not ask many questions therefore i do not know how much the 9 hole golf course will be.
my husband would like to visit at Xmas, i am a bit worried that there will not be much to do, or not many people there, i do not want to be on an under developed empty site at Xmas. may be i am being a bit unfair but from what i saw last wk i cant see much happening this Xmas.

Spent the afternoon yesterday walking around HR in the glorious sunshine. Delighted with our purchase! The views are amazing! Pool, lake, golf course, mountains as far as the eye can see... Fantastic!

Very pleased with our trip. Completion went smoothly, minor snagging. Found all the furniture we liked at Inside Right Espana  (on the way to Murcia, next exit after PW headquarters follow signs to Roldan and go left to Poligono Ind, they're on the right after the Indian restaurant). Highly recommend them. Excellent service.  Dealt with Debbie, a delightful Scot, Suzie and Neil, all really great people. Quality at a very keen price and all taken care of ! So looking forward to going back in February ! Couln't be happier!   :)

Hi all

I received my date for completion in November they told me 15th January 2008 I informed them it would not be a good time for me, They were very helpful  I gave them alternative date for 4th 5th Feb no problems
Are there any owners on this forum on phase 4 salvia 1 and have you completed or going out in the near future.
