I know we are all fed up with the long running saga of Corvera airport, and as can be seen in the last post on this thread which was in January there was nothing positive.
But maybe, maybe, after a court ruling last week against the former concessionary the opening may be a bit closer. (See link)

Corvera airport contract awarded to Aena. Possibility of opening in 2018.Of all the 46 airports that Aena are in charge of in Spain, Corvera will be the only one managed as a concessionaire, not as an owner.

Today Aena signs the official contract for Corvera airport with the Regional government of Murcia for a concessional period of 25 years.
There will be no transitional period between San Javier and Corvera. San Javier will close one day and Corvera will open the next.
Flights could begin from December.
