Solicitors in Murcia Region

Hi All,
We am purchasing in 3 Molinos and I am interested in everyones experience in getting their Solicitor.
We are presently using Imont Legal Services in San Javier - anyone any experiences with them?
We were given a list of 3 or 4 solicitors from the sales person who seemed pretty honest or am I just gullable? We chose Imont after getting in touch with all the solicitors as there response was the most comprehensive and the were competitively priced.
(Perhaps this would be worth a category on it's own as other forums have lots of chit chat about legal experiences)

do not use any solicitor recommended by developers or agents use your own recommended by independent source.

This is very important as some people have had problems  by using solicitors from developers and agents . pm me for further info.

my name is Paul & my wife is Sara,we have been using Imont solicitors since we purchased our green apartment in March 06.
Isabel is the owner and is very nice ,she is Murcia born &bred so knows Murcia law inside out.
We were recommended to her by an agent working for parador properties at the time who is a friend of ours ,and has since left the company and set up his own >spanishdream.co.uk .
Isabel is fair and very efficient at her job and was very impressed by the builders contract we were given when we purchased,we were very suspicious of the solicitors we were told to use by parador so were very happy to go to Imont,
We have no complaints what so ever!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all for the 're-assurance ' regarding Imont. It is nice to hear other peoples views and what makes this site so valuable.

I fully understand Gerry's warning regarding solicitors recommended by developers having read quite a few sob stories about this subject. However, Imont recomendation came after lengthy discussions and questioning of someone we had come to trust in our dealngs with the developer (Imont were one on a list offered to us of local solicitors) ... it looks like we made a good judgement call!

gerry n Hi all new member first visit. Seems very helpful site just put initial deposit at alhama. seeking advice on solicitors costs etc.Has been suggested as its polaris that solicitor not needed but seems foolish Please advise. 2% is what I am being told

A lawyer is a must but 2% is approximately double what you should be paying!  I suggest that possible 1% or less than 1% should be the ballpark.  PM me if you want more information.
