Garden Centres
« on: March 15, 2011, 07:06:23 PM »
Hi, we visited the Botanica garden centre (off the motorway) on Monday to find out that it will be closing down in the next couple of month (which is a real shame).  Trading conditions are difficult.  They are selling off stock (30% off non-plant stock, 50% off plant stock).

If anyone knows of any other good garden centres in the area, please can you add a reply to this post?

Thanks, Christine

Hi

Totally agree it is a shame. We have used it a lot and did well there today with the reductions. There is also a good, smaller, garden centre at Roldan. It is on the roundabout on the bypass between Balsicas and the A30.

HELLO,
There is a garden centre attatched to 'Al Puente' which is a big B&Q type store just off the AP7-come off at jcn 770 I think & turn back on yourself on the N332 past the 1 star hotel-its on your right.
Also on the N332 down between Dos Mares & Iceland going towards San Javier, on the right, there is another one called 'Aro 30'. They have a good selection of plants both inside & out with fuit trees, palms etc.

Hello again, just remembered another one on the way to the airport next to the roundabout. Its name on the outside is 'Adela Sanchez', haven't been inside so can't comment but its worth having a look when your'e passing.
