Hi All
just received from Lyn Baines re the La Tercia Fiesta and tonight.  See attached poster re 9th July.

Hope you all have an absolutely fabulous time tonight and during Fiesta time -  we are so sad we are missing it but perhaps another time we can be there  :'( :'(

Anyway, email from Lyn:

"Attached is the poster for the International Fiesta to be held on 9 July. Thanks to some of the residents of La Tercia for offering to help with the village fete.

There are lots more events the following weekend and the Fiesta leaflets are now available. I will be at the Dy' Vanne bar's party tonight and will pick them up then, so I will get as many distributed as I can.

Hope to see you tonight in La Tercia.

Kind regards

Lyn Baines"

For the Fiesta tonight Eileen and i have contributed to the International Fiesta by producing 50 British made  ( by our own fair hands  8) 8)) individual trifle`s to give out to the local children in the village.

The fun starts around 21.00 Spanish time, so it could be a little later  ;) at the Tele club La Tercia.

Hello Hello Hello
I hope everyone that went to the village Fiesta had a really good time last night - looking forward to hearing some reports.
With kindest regards to one and all
Sandra

The International Fiesta Night, was attended by many owners from Gea Y Tryols, 4 artists performed and along with the Ingles Postre ( Trifle  :) ) free Sangria provided by the TeleClub the evening was a success 8) 8)

For those arriving this week, the village Fiesta continues on Friday 15th July until Monday 18th July. various events taking place, one being the foam party on Saturday the 16th 22.00hrs.

Also on Saturday 19.00 Grand Parade of Carnival floats, leaflets can be picked up from the local village shops, there may also be a few left in the UGR clubhouse.

Dave ( times being Spanish times, so may start later than posted ;) )

Hi Matt,

The parade starts from the car wash, just out of the village on the left has if you are heading to Sucina.

On Sat there is also a traditional Murcian game ( according to the leaflet, similar to hoopla ) taking place at 16.30  Campeonalo de Caliche, this will probably be at the TeleClub.

Hi Dave

We have been to the Fiesta the last 3 years - but unfortunately we only come out the following week this time. The game you refer to is probably the one we were watching last year - it was in the "Sports pitch" area in the centre of the village.
Don't forget to follow the float giving free beer and sandwiches  ;D ;D ;D
