La Tercia village Fiesta 2011

Been told that the date for this years village Fiesta will be from the 14th July , I am sure there will be more information on the Fiesta and a confirmed date.

There is a possibility that the date could be from the 21st July, leaflets will be published nearer the time once the dates are confirmed i was told.

However for those who are at La Tercia this coming Saturday, there is a Carnival taking place in the village at 20.00hrs 12th March. Then on to La Tercia Social Centre, for drinks

 Can anyone confirm or deny that you can get internet access from one of the bars in La Tercia village.
I think I noticed a post regarding this a while back but @ that time it was unconfirmed ?

Hello,
    I think the posting you saw may have been mine. Yes there is free wi-fi in La Tercia at the Centro Municipal where Bar Marisa is & the ugly blue structure behind. It is very slow at the moment as there needs to be some more work done to increase the signal.
  Go down the street opposite the Dy Vanne bar (at the end of the village on the left) If you look to the left opposite you will see the Centro.
  If you have transport there is also free wi-fi in the townhall square in San Javier or in Dos Mares centre at Mcdonalds on the upper level.
  Sorry if this reply is late but I have been in UK for a couple of weeks & only now have had a chance to look on the Forum.

Dy Vanne will be celebrating their 4th anniversary on 1 July and Vanessa has invited everyone in Gea y Truyols to come along in the evening. She has booked a band, so it promises to be a good night.

Hi Big Gaz, we are out from the 1st July in time for the Dy Vanne celebrations   and the village Fiesta etc 

No tickets required, perhaps dancing in the streets though knowing the size of the Dy Vanne

Looking forward to catching up with those we have not seen for awhile, bet there is plenty to catch up on.

Along with the event to be held at the Dy Vanne bar in La Tercia Friday 1st July.

For those looking for some entertainment, the international day is still taking place in the village on Saturday 9th July.

The programme is still subject to change, mainly because Lyn is awaiting information from the Mayor, but hoping that it will run like this:
 
10:00 pm Viva Quartet

10:30 pm Toe the Line (public participation encouraged - line dancing)

11:00 pm Smithy (singer and guitar)

12:00 am Debbie B (rock, pop and soul singer)

 01.30 am Free Sangria for all
 
Some British residents of La Tercia are supplying a couple of fun village fete games for the evening and I thought that, if we have these ready to roll around 9.00 pm, people could turn up a little earlier.

There is a carnival parade on 16 July, which starts at the factory building in front of the car wash in La Tercia (you will see it on the programme) - they would very much like to see floats from the foreign contingent, so that may be something owners would like to do. If you don't have a trailer, then you can walk.

There is also be a programme of events for the village Fiesta starting on Friday 15th July, which i have attached to the bottom of this post. ( The programe is very faint in colour, but new leaflets are being arranged which i will try to upload another one before the day) I will also arrange to collect a few leaflets from Lyn, to pass around UGR.

Roll up and enjoy the local village events, that are taking place over the next couple of weeks

The International Day (and the big Fiesta the following weekend) are all based down at the opposite end of the village to Dy Vanne.

It's outside the TeleClub and there is a big stage, so you can't miss it.
