PGA to set up training academies at Roda and Corvera
« on: January 29, 2007, 07:17:39 PM »
Hi All,

I was made aware of this very interesting piece of news last week and thought it was time to share it with you.
The PGA Europe has announced that it is going to set up its first overseas branded academies in mainland Europe. The news follows the announcement of a new partnership with the Spanish Golf Property developer Calidona and will see the development of four academies plus two new PGA branded courses in the south east of Spain namely the Murcia region and specifically Roda Golf and Beach Resort and Corvera Golf and Country Club.

This is a fantastic endorsement not only for the developments chosen in the region of Murcia but also for golf and golfing developments as a whole. Many will agree that it is just reward as the Golfing elite start to rubber stamp the quality of Course and development facilities that are starting to put the region well and truly on the map.
Congratulations to all at Roda Golf and in the future to those at Corvera Golf and Country Club. Also chosen amongst the four were Ballabona (PGA Almeria) and Alhama (PGA Murcia).
