Gas Bills

Hi is anybody else not receiving their gas bill? We have received gas bills every two months since being connected up and have paid them by direct debit.  Last bill was received in April and have not received once since? Anybody know why? Thanks

Hugh,
Don't know why, but just checked and our last bill for gas was also in April.
Whilst on the subject of gas, the last time we were over ( last week) I forgot to turn the gas on when we arrived. It took me several days to remember as the water was very hot from the solar panels and we didn't need the boiler at all. Obviously this will only apply in the summer but nice to know the solar panels work !

Hi All,

There seems to be a problem with the administration side of the company HC Energia, if i remember correctly gas natural used to supply and send out the gas bills, HC Energia then took over this after HC Energia bought out gas natural ( i maybe wrong on this )

However after speaking with HC Energia, you can contact them on tel number 00 34 902 860 860  or on email address atcliente@hcenergia.com to explain your problem.

It is likely that you will receive a bill in Sept for the missing months, once you are on the data base. HC Energia said that there where only a small number of properties at La Tercia currently on their data base.

Hi Dave,

I contacted hc energia via their website and gave them my details as you have described.

In the "Number of contract" field put in your Cliente Number and also your Referencia number as displayed on your bill.
They e-mailed me back the next day saying they have updated their records.
Gave the info mid August, no bill yet but it was only just over 2 weeks ago.

Also my previous Gas bills with gas Natural did not have my Buzon number on my address. Give them that info as well, will help the postman get it in the correct box !!

hi everyone,

There are packs from HC just beginning to trickle in today. Malc has picked up about  8 from various boxes we have keys for . Inside it there are two contracts one to keep and another  to sign and return in a pre-paid envelope once details are corrected. Good idea about the buzon no. Andy. For our efforts, we all get a very bright red compact fold up canvas shopping bag!! ;)

This may sound really silly, but does anyone know if you could have an electric water heater as a back up to the solar panels, as it is only the boilers that use gas, and then we wouldn't have to pay for the standing charge for the gas? or is there a tariff that only charges for the gas that is used, with no standing charge?

Thats a jolly good idea, but I wonder if it would be worth while. There are the set up costs for the electrical heating element, plus labour charges. Also electricity can be very expensive I understand. Then you have to make sure that the person doing the job is like Corgi registered & you would need to have a certificate to prove that otherwise the insurance would be invalidated.
Its worth looking into though- do we have a plumber on site?

We expect to solve this issue soon and start billing and debiting clients again along current month.

In case of receiving accumulated consumption, payment could be broken up.

 ;)WHATS A GAS BILL ? Is the gas not free along with the leccie  ;) We never had a bill over on phase 2 ;) You lot on phase 1 must be paying ours as well. ::)
 
 There must be a post box with all my bills in or when I go over this month our gas will be turned off.

Further to giving hc energia my contact details I have managed to gain online access to 'facturacion electronica' to see my bills online. (No bills displayed at moment).

When trying to set up online bills via link below I was unable as the Contract number was not displayed on my bill.

If you click on link below to contact hc energia and explain you are trying to set up electronic billing they will send you an e-mail (copied below) where they have given me a password then you can change it once you have logged in.

Reading the post as above I too discovered that my Last bill for gas was in April 2010. I now am not in Spain again for a while and will be contacting HC Enery to attempt to have them e mail me the contract. (If indeed they have taken over the gas supply from Gas Natural)
To those of you that have contacted HC Energy have they simply transferred the direct debit or do we have to complete a new one.
I also take it that we just supply the client/reference no from our previous gas natural bills.

On a recent (last week) trip I found the new agreement in my post box on site dated June.  So that is where your agreement will be - we were just transferred over rather than it being a request.
