Swing Building
« on: June 03, 2006, 07:33:52 PM »
Hi all, myself and my partner Jemma have just come back from an inspecton trip to Costa Blanca. We are really excited as we bought an apartment in the Swing building La Tercia. I was really pleased to find this website and would like to get in touch with anybody who wants to chat about this resort. We thought the finish of the show apartments were superb. I have to say not much choice left as they were almost sold out of phase 1. We reserved our place on the Tuesday, and on the Wednesday we went back to find all of the ones we were looking at were gone (and there was a revised pricelist!) Luckily we were granted the price we had reserved.
I'm looking forward to seeing the site grow over time. We were at the site on Wed May 31st unfortuantely raining so the builders couldn't work (wrong kind of rain or something ;))

Bye for now
Richard and Jemma

Dear All,

Have been watching the web site for a few weeks. A lot of useful information going around. We are going over to Spain on 24 June. So should get some pictures hopefully. It is the first time we have bought abroad and therefore we are not to familiar with things.

Has anyone managed to determine if all the appropriate planning permission and bank guarantees, licences are in place yet for both the development and the golf course? Or are these questions premature?

The resort does look fantastic. For the site plan ours is Block 5 No 16 and it a Swing Apartment. Look forward to putting more post on the web site. For those people who around the Preston area and the Wigan Warriors supporter we are not far away!!

Hi Tom and Andrea,
Both Jemma and myself are new to this also, this is our first property abroad and it looks like you are next door but one - we are block 5 number 18 Swing building. I'm a Leeds Rhino fan and Jemma is a Bradford Bull fan.
When did you make your purchase on the property, we only went out a month ago and thought it would be an ideal investment and holiday home.

Kind regards
Richard and Jemma

Hello Tom and Andrea.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes we have copies of both the planning permission and bankers guarantee for the development.  If you get in touch with Eva at vicus she should send you the copies.

Dear All,

Thanks for the welcome.

It is reassuring to know that the bank guarantees are in place and where to go if they are not. I too am a Wigan Warriors Supporter. How unfortunate for us that we are next door but one to  Leeds Rhino and Bradford Bulls supporters ( only joking!!) at least we will have something to talk about.

I know St James Hospital in Leeds very well - it saved my life. I will tell you about that another day when we are drenching ourselves in the sun.

As for Dave's question - well we are in the Almond Brook area between Standish and Shevington.

Look forward to corresponding on the development.

Speak soon

Hi all, there seem to be loads of new members recently and I was wondering if we had any new purchasers in the Swing buildings.

Hi Richard and Jemma

Glad to see there are others out there!!!! unfortunately we can`t make March already committed else where, but i`m sure we will be there for the next one. when is your apartment completed ? Do you know if there are any show apartments for the swing yet? we have only just noticed that they are all  different sizes - we are phase 2 block 5 M20C which i think is the same size as yours.

Hi There,

Yes we are also glad that there are more Swing Building owners popping up on
the forum.
We are coming to Coventry in March so hope to have a chat with some neighbours.
Our apartment is in Block 1 M15+C apartment no.14, we thought the apartment
was nice and close to the Commercial Centre and Bar, not too far to walk home.

We bought A tee building in block four (phase two) which is the next block to yours. 2009 seems so far away but i am sure it will be worth the wait
