Personally I use http://www.18185.co.uk and have been amazed at how much it has saved me over the last couple of years.
I even use it for daytime UK calls which BT seem to charge a fortune for these days.

Hi - my tip is that I pay Euro 4.99 per month to Skype and I can phone Spain for free unlimited as well a numerous other European countries plus as Hugh_man does - the UK local and national - it has saved me an absolute fortune in call charges.


We are on Virgin at home and if we dial any of the low cost carriers as below they charge a huge connection fee so have found Skype the best for us.
