completing or not completing that is the question
« on: December 08, 2009, 02:53:36 PM »
Is there anyone out there being ordered by UGR to attend the notary and sign the title deeds and who may wish to form a group to obtain the community we all were sold by UGR staff and sales literature.

I have a few issues with the actual home I would want resolved prior to signing, however the larger picture is we were sold a community with facilities and many of the facilities are not now going ahead furthermore the issue of the landslide is outstanding.

Please let us act together if you are not happy

Elizabeth,

The issue you are raising here is not a new one and has been talked about over many different topics on the forum for some time.

I think the first point is and we were all possibly very naive with this, is the contract you and I paid our deposit on was for a single property. There is no mention in the contact of any obligation to provide what the sales staff have promised.

However, given time I believe UGR will deliver on products like the sports facilities, either because finances and licences allow or legal pressure is applied. This is just my opinion and is probably of little consolation to you.

My real problem is that there are construction problems with the house and the site that directly affect the construction of each and every dwelling and UGR refuse to enter discussions. The fact that they can produce documents from the town hall does not mean  that these documents and therefore the habitation of a property cannot be challenged

Just spoke to Sam. We are of the opinion we are being railroaded into purchasing negative equity and that there must be others out there.
We should get together and raise some form of class action to get what we paid for or be refunded.
I understand the opinion of the people who have already completed but hopefully any legal action would benefit them also.
Please get in contact with each other

I have now spoken to a couple of people in the same situation as myself. It would be great to speak to more.  I am not sure what we can do to assist ourselves but if there was say 100 of us we must be able to make ourselves heard.

I would hope that anything we can do would benefit everyone on La Tercia. Like force UGR to build the site as promised and pay their dues
