     now i have first to say that there is as much chance of getting me in one of those tops as there is of getting me in a Celtic top ( well thats maybe a bit of an exaggeration) but i am sure me and big gaz will come along and listen the usual 40 years since we won the world cup and this year is going to be our year so on and so on. it should be a good laugh when it all comes tumbling down ha ha.

 but seriously will look forward to enjoying the world cup games and hope england do well but not to well

Luis and I have been practising all week. He has played golf five times and I have been to the pub three times. Practice makes perfect...

hi all, 

as i posted on another thread (i am getting as bad as you Luis)the Scots will be OK, by the way Gary did you say you have only been at the pub "3" times this week. Don't think we need to worry to much about these guys gaz i will have the glenmorangie hip flask in the bag so we will be bringing our little bit of culture to the game we invented and helping the sasanachs drown there sorrows in the evening when england gloriously fail in the world cup (i know i know we aren't good enough to get there)  but we can still enjoy the occasion. So see you all soon.

we are over from 21/04 to the 28/04 so anybody interested in a game or 2 get in touch

Thats great news you are coming & bringing a rabble with you i think we will easily get 20 or more players, Gary what are you saying its not a serious competition? iv basically semi retired to try & cram as much glof in as possible so im ready for june & now on the subject of england & the footy
When we win that saturday night, the scots will have to give us a standing ovation? well sitting down will be ok if by then your unable to walk I hope the golf courses are still covered in snow up there jimmy with a bit of luck they thaw about may, that will gave you a month to practise, Ray you seemed half interested before christmas? you fancy it? as gal says the more the merrier

Hi Luis,
Golf, beer and a few laughs.....sounds like my idea of a good break.....so yep, still interested.
I know it's been posted somewhere but can you remind me if you have definite dates and if you have a basic format of how many days, venues etc.
One last question..... and somebody has to ask, are the girls involved at all or is it a lads only trip, either way I'm still interested.

most of us arrive 24th june, my lot will be having a warm up that day well have 18 holes somewhere,
your more than welcome to join us? gary arrives in the afternoon so the serious stuff starts friday 25th then saturday, & sunday, & monday, course the girls are allowed? who do you think is doing the caddying no only joking, shell arrives sunday night, but its up to you mate, val is more than welcome,
Gary will explain the rest,  now your in ray the northern team is starting to look impressive, i think we will have a game on our hands, but im not sure the format yet, im just hoping Gary doesnt handicap the essex team by putting any of the swindon lads with us? that will really ruin our chances, if he does its only fair you take half of them?
