Spanish Taxes 1. La Renta, Form 210
« on: November 25, 2009, 12:48:51 PM »
Whilst we are discussing various local and other taxes in Spain, I thought it might be worth reminding all non residents at Roda that we are all subject to a local Income or la Renta Tax which has to be paid by year end and involves completing a Form, Modelo 210, replacing Form 214 since the wealth Tax element was withdrawn last year.
I note this year, jointly our tax has gone down to 273 Euros but costs of completing 2 returns can be up to 75 euros each plus IVA if using a solicitor.

There are online firms claiming to complete your tax forms for you at prices ranging from 35-50 euros but I have no experience of their abilities. I believe it may also be possible to register online yourself and complete your own forms, perhaps anyone who has done so may like to comment.

Owners who actually receive a rental income may well have to make more regular returns.
