Aftersales and Development Updates
« on: December 15, 2006, 09:08:37 AM »
Hi All

I have received the following email from the United Golf Team, the Q & A have been posted in the FAQ`s topic on the forum board. It would appear, that there is no longer a manager of the aftersales team.Has anyone else been in contact with the aftersales team, since Gisella left the department.

Dear David,
First of all I would to apologize for the delay in answering your questions.

Due to events at United Golf Resorts moving so fast with the development at 'La Tercia' and a new development 'Valle Del Sabinar' due for release early next year, some things have changed here in the central office.

Our aftersales department started during the summer and this was one of Gisella's many duties, of which she had time to answer questions daily which was helped by the fact that we were only working on La Tercia.
I can tell you that Gisella won't be working on this department anymore but the team here at United Golf Resorts are working together to try and ensure that we answer everyones questions as quickly and correctly when possible.

I ask for your time and patience on this matter as there are many more clients and more work to be done with La Tercia (phase 2) and also with the new development Valle Del Sabinar.

We are very pleased with developments at La Tercia and you can also check our web site from time to time to view pictures of the development progressing. The pictures are updated every two months.
I would also like to inform you that our web site will be updated shortly.
The phone number you have been trying to ring sometimes has a weak signal due to the area and construction, and that number is mainly for sales information.

Kind regards
United Golf Resorts

Tom can you give us an update on how the development is progressing, has construction of the 10th ;) been started.I don`t believe we have anything to worry about, regarding the golf course licence being issued.

Hi everybody,

We did today receive by DHL a rather nice welcome to UGR pack with golf balls, towels, tees with our name printed on them! and a very nice letter from UGR.
It made us feel part of the new golfing village being made there.

Hi All

Richard & Jemma

Here is a little information regarding Builders power supply, the builders power supply is very unreliable. Free water and electricity does sound attractive?, How about candles in the evening and no shower in the morning :o. The builder's supply is usually low on voltage or water pressure.

To make ownership legal this is the documentation, I believe we need to have in place to complete on our property and also to connect to the utilities

Licence of First Occupation/Habitation (LFO) .
The law states you are not legally obliged to complete without one.
Developers cannot force you to complete without one, or threaten that you will lose deposit/property if you do not complete. That is against the law.

 Water/Electricity/Telephone companies
They will not connect your property without an LFO

 Registering your property
You cannot register your property in your name without an LFO, this is the law, and therefore you will not legally be the owner.

If anyone has any more information or if any of the above is incorrect do tell.

Perhaps we can ask Q to do a topic on the Licence of first occupation also regarding completion day?.

Hi All

I have heard that the sidewalks are currently being layed, in a red and black block paving. Can anyone who has visited, the development recently give us an update on this?.

Dave

You are absolutely correct and they look great.  Sorry, I haven't posted my visit report yet and I must admit I forgot about the pavements!  But you  have reminded me - Michel took great pains to point them out to us!

Just back from Spain. Despite the howling wind, cold and rain (+flooding!!) the site is looking impressive.
Michel took us on a site visit and was very helpful. The block paving is looking good on the footpaths as is the stone on the banking leading from the footpaths by the apartments.
He pointed out the glass bricks on the stairways of the apartments, which should give a light and airy feel.
We were discussing the changes to the kitchen in the Green Apt. We were aware of the worktop now being dark grey (better than original) The cooker is now to be stainless steel to match the cooker hood. But unfortunately the fridge freezer is to stay white, which is a pity as it would it would look better in the same colour as the other appliances.

I asked United golf the following question as I am not sure if I like the kitchen units:
We have bought a penthouse apartment due for completion in December 2007.

Would it be possible to inform us who the suppliers of the kitchen units are as it might be a consideration of ours to change the fronts on completion.

This is their reply:

Hi Valerie,

We have been in contact with the supplier of the kitchens and as they are so busy with La Tercia and normally only deal with constructors/developers, they would prefer to wait until September or October before we give anyone their  contact details. Also, just so that you know, they don’ speak English.

Contact us again in September and we’ll see what we can do.

Kind regards

United Golf Resorts
