I have been asked by a forum member who is a very keen golfer but has no regular partner if we could provide a topic where lone golfers can post their dates at La Tercia in the hope they can arrange a round or two with other owners or golfers.  So,please use this topic to do that just that - post your dates here and see if anyone would like a round of golf whilst you are visiting La Tercia, or indeed any other of the courses covered on www.murcia-golf.co.uk

We are at La Tercia between 29th May to June 7th,
We are a 2 ball at the begining of the week then a 3 ball towards the end,
We will be mainly playing at La Tercia, with the odd away trip, & def will get 6 games in,

Hi,

Just back from 4 days of golf in Murcia. I took three friends over and we used Mike Probert to pre book our green fees, which took away a lot of hassle.

We played Lo Romero, Villamartin, La Serena and of course La Tercia. Everyone agreed Lo Romero was the best all round course in terms of interesting holes and general condition.

Thanks Mike for the group lesson at La Serena. However La Serena is probably not the best course to have a lesson and then try and play a match.....! You will know what I mean if you have ever played the course as the first is very tight with water all down the right hand side which claimed my first two balls! Everyone enjoyed this course but we all agreed that it could have been tended a bit better.

I'm back in four weeks time if anyone fancies a game, the low season deals are kicking in now. Please get in touch and I'll get a tee booked.

Many thanks again to Mike and by the way his book "Golfing Guide to Murcia" is a great buy.

I am glad that you enjoyed the visit to Spain last month with the 'boys'.

For sure La Serena is a difficult course,especially just after a lesson BUT what excellent deals they offer and how pro-active they are with the golfing public.

By the way they sell a very reasonably priced survival pack of lake balls in the pro-shop.

Most of the summer deals are still valid until Mid-September and so you should catch them on your next visit.

hi gaz, its just me and you for the golf at the mo, gal is staying at home for crimbo, we arrive boxing day and leave to see family new years eve, so wel have to have our golf comp between them dates and our drinking comp played over 5 nites, best out of 5,lol. And yeah as u no wel b visiting the wok at least 3 times, but want to give the club house and alan a bit of suport, so in there everynight. Lol. See you soon mate. Asta luego. Luis

would love to join you guys for these "competitions" but have to stay at home mine and mandys family always have a big christmas and new year doo's, and this year christmas dinner is at ours and the last count was 27 so i for one will be very jealous of you guys out there away from all the wind and rain (maybe even snow) back here.

So enjoy yourselves and have one or two for me.

hi jimmy and mandy, shame you wont make christmas at la tercia. But it sounds like your gona have a great time up there,  yeah spk to the stig yesterday, hes back to work next week, i think he ok, could need an operation, but hes probably getting spoilt by the girls so hel be ok, jim there will be more golf and drinking comps next year, so hopefully see you then. Hi ray, we have put our names down for the golf comp easter sunday, thats me gary, stig, but stig & i will probably play lo romero on the saturday too, do you fancy playing? or anyone else for tha matter?

Hi Luis,
Thanks for the offer mate, but I don't think I'm going to play on the Saturday.
My brother-in-law and sister-in law are now joining us for our short trip over Easter and he doesn't play very often. We are both going to play in the LT society on the Thursday afternoon though and I am going to play in the comp on the Sunday too, he is a good drinking partner though so I'm sure I'll find something to do on the Saturday to compensate.
