Forum Photo Gallery

Hi All,

I have added a Gallery to the forum which is available for all members to use. All forum members are automatically registered for the Gallery. 

The Gallery allows you to upload photos directly into whatever album you wish. I’ve made a start with a few albums, if you would like other album titles added then please post your suggestions into this topic.

There is a FAQ link with limited help, as we go along I’ll expand it. Uploading should be straightforward……just follow the instructions.

Any problems or questions, then please post into this topic.

Well that man Q has gone and done it again, some great photo`s of how the development is starting to take shape at Corvera.

Q reports that although it looks like not a lot has happened in the last few months they have actually completed a lot of the 'Donkey work' as far as putting in service/works access roads etc.

I`am sure these photo`s will please one member of our forum, perhaps we will see some more Corvera owners on the forum soon.   You can view the photo`s in the Corvera general section of the photo gallery.

Hello All,

Whilst i was visiting the Corvera Golf and Country Club today i managed to get a few pictures to post on the forum to show all you lucky Corvera owners whats happening up there at the moment and the current state of play.
Now before you get too excited you may not notice too much change from the pictures today and those from last time i posted pics at Christmas time, however on closer inspection and an eye for new developments in general you should just notice that some of the service/works roads are now being completed and a lot of earth has been moved. Dare is suggest that some parts even look like they may be waiting for concrete to be poured ?

Now this might not generate too much excitement in the bellies of most of you but i can tell you that when you are there in person looking down across the 'natural bowl' of landscape that has cleverly been chosen for this development, with the mountains at your back and the sun in your face, there is something quite special about the place, even now.

In case you didn't notice i like this place !

Hello all,

I am new to the Corvera forum and I am buying on phase 3.  I visited the Murcia area at Easter and took some pictures of the current infrastructure at Corvera Golf and Country Club.  I took the pictures from the visitor centre terrace, in a panoramic way and scanned from the hotel area, past the new entrance to the phase 3 area. You can also see the new building work in Corvera town on the horizon.

Welcome to the forum
I think you will probably find as I have that this is the most up-to-date information site on the web.
No doubt we shall be sharing the same swimming pool by 2010 as Jane and I have also bought on phase 3. Personally if I had freedom of choice on the entire Corvera developement this is where I would have "stuck my pin".

Thank you for your kind words re the Forum.  All of our members work really hard to make sure we share information as it happens - and this ensures we do have up to date information.  We are trying to build relationships with the developers so we can all work together - we think we have been quite successful with United - do you fancy having a go at Corvera ? 

We are having a social event in September -  would any of the Corvera owners like to come - Dave the Moderator has all the details.

Welcome to the best forum on the web!   We are a lovely bunch of people, whereever we have bought!  You will be very welcome at the get together as although the original get together was started for our members who bought at La Tercia (not too far from Corvera) we also welcome anyone that wants to join us. 

Dave has all the details, but  briefly the Coventry event has been arranged for the last weekend in September at the Holiday Inn just off Jct 2 of the M6.  Please email Dave@murcia-golf.co.uk for all the details.

Re Corvera - it will be an absolutely fantastic resort - and now that the building programme for Corvera Airport is just about to launch - even better.

There is absolutely loads of information about all sorts of aspects of buying property in Murcia, so if you think of a question, do a quick search and I am sure one of us has covered it in oneof the topics.

Hi all, thank you Rob for the photographs and thanks Gary for uploading them.  Things at Corvera seem to be moving quite quickly now, we have been told Phase I should be completing next April   Perhaps I should have been actively doing something over the past three years!

Hi Anita,

For those that don't know you...Anita is one of the original forum members and has been talking to us for the last two and a half years. Anita, if I remember rightly, originally you were expecting completion about the same time as ourselves?

Where has the last 2-3 years gone....and how things have changed in that time. Not just the fact that our developments are at whatever stage they are, but things generally - exchange rates, interest rates etc.

Whats the situation over there on Corvera with regard to sales? Are there many properties left unsold to date?

Good to hear from you again, its good to see your site developing.

Hi Gary, thanks for your comments.  Oh yes haven't things changed........  As a result of poor exchange rate, our apartment is now costing us approximately £25K more    We were due to complete about the same time as you but as our builder got lost we were slightly delayed, but are now firmly back on track.  I vaguely remember someone saying that 1200 properties (1800 in total) had been sold, but that was a few months back so maybe more. Unfortunately, it seems our golf course will not be complete/playable until approximately 1 year after completion of Phase I/II.  Initially, it was supposed to be a couple of months after, due to a water feature   Timescale doesn't seem that important to Calidonia.  Then again, delays seem to be par for the course - excuse the pun.  I do feel positive though, and I am sure when the development is complete in the year 2020 it will have been worth the wait.   Glad to see things progressing well at La Tercia.  Looks like it's going to be a fantastic development.  You seem to have built a real community.
